Nahndi Bush
M.D.Dr. Bush has devoted more than 18 years to the practice of comprehensive Ophthalmology and glaucoma in Northern New Jersey. A graduate of Princeton University, she earned her MD from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Following internship at Hackensack University Medical Center, Dr. Bush completed her Ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York then stayed on as Chief Resident, completing a glaucoma fellowship. She serves as a voluntary attending at University Hospital in Newark, where she was recently honored with the 15 year Service Award. Dr. Bush is a diplomate of The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and The American Glaucoma Society.
Dr. Bush is passionately devoted to the education of her patients on the care of their eyes as part of a holistic approach. In addition to utilizing the most current surgical and laser treatments when needed, including advanced technology IOLs (intraocular lens implants) for cataract surgery and MIGS (Micro-Invasive Glaucoma Surgery), she believes the best care also involves attention to nutrition, and physical and emotional fitness, while building a trusting partnership between physician and patient. Dr. Bush also does public speaking on health and wellness. She is a wife and active mother of three, and resides in Bergen County.
