Dr. Michael Landolfi is a 1994 graduate of Boston College. He proceeded on to do his medical school training and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In 2003 he joined Vision Eye Physicians and Surgeons where he currently practices Comprehensive Ophthalmology, which includes dry eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and cataracts. Dr. Landolfi specializes in cataract surgery and premium intraocular lens implants, including multifocal and astigmatism-correcting lenses. He is one of the past presidents of the New Jersey Academic of Ophthalmology and currently sits on the board of governors where he continues to fight for patients and doctors’ rights. Dr. Landolfi is a member of the River Drive Surgery and Laser Center and with his colleagues will be one of the first ophthalmologists in N.E. Jersey trained to do Laser Cataract Surgery, the most advanced treatment at this time. He is also the Director of Adult Ophthalmology at Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at Clara Maass Medical Center. He has been named one of “America’s Top Ophthalmologists” multiple times by Consumers’ Research Council of America.
