Dr. Kunjal Modi was raised in northern New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University for medical school, as well as for his residency training, where he served as the chief resident. Dr. Modi completed a fellowship in medical and surgical glaucoma at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. Dr. Modi is board certified in ophthalmology, and has expertise in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), as well as the latest techniques in medical, laser, and surgical glaucoma.

When outside of work, he enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two children.

In addition to English, Dr. Modi speaks Spanish and Gujarati.
